We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help shape and support a modern, cloud-first technology environment.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys working across cloud, networking and hybrid environments.

You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our technology estate, providing 3rd line expertise, supporting major infrastructure initiatives and helping drive the transition towards a more modern and globally aligned technology platform.

What you'll be doing

  • Acting as a senior technical escalation point for infrastructure, cloud and network issues
  • Supporting and improving Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid infrastructure services
  • Managing and maintaining enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs and connectivity services
  • Delivering infrastructure changes, upgrades and service improvements
  • Helping reduce legacy technology dependencies and supporting cloud migration initiatives
  • Automating deployments and configuration through scripting and tooling
  • Working closely with Service Desk, security specialists, technology teams and external suppliers
  • Producing clear documentation, operational procedures and technical standards
  • Supporting knowledge sharing and mentoring colleagues across the wider technology team

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience in infrastructure engineering within enterprise environments
  • Hands-on knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune and identity platforms
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure
  • Strong networking expertise, including firewalls, routing, switching and VPN technologies
  • Experience with automation, scripting and infrastructure-as-code approaches
  • Understanding of IT service management processes, including incident, change and problem management
  • Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and vendor management skills
  • A structured, pragmatic approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure

Why join us?

  • Opportunity to influence a cloud-first technology strategy
  • Broad technical exposure across infrastructure, networking and cloud services
  • Collaborative team environment with opportunities to shape best practice
  • Hybrid working model
  • Chance to work on meaningful transformation and modernisation projects

If you're an experienced infrastructure engineer looking for a role that combines operational responsibility, technical depth and the opportunity to drive change, we'd love to hear from you.
